The Team

Jevon Cutler
PI

Dept. of Pediatrics, Knight Cancer Institute & Dept. of Cell, Developmental and Cancer Biology. email: CutlerJ at ohsu.edu

Devyn Clark
Graduate Student

Devyn is using split-fluorescent proteins to better understand how the KMT2A complex is regulated and can drive drug resistance. Additionally, he is interested in how co-mutations in KMT2A driven leukemias impact drug efficacy.

He received his BS in molecular biology from Brigham Young University and worked for a clinical laboratory start up called Galaxy Diagnostics before joining the Cutler Laboratory.

Henry Neufeld
Graduate Student

Henry is interested in epigenetic and apoptotic resistance mechanisms to combination treatments that include Menin inhibitors in KMT2A-r acute leukemias. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he studied chemokine receptor structure and function. In his free time, he enjoys biking, camping, and making ceramics.

Xavier Gonzalez
Program Administrator

Xavier received his PhD Biomedical Science, focused on Immunology & Microbiology, from University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. He joined the Knight Cancer Institute to support scientific advancement. He currently supports the Emili and Cutler Laboratories.

Nicholas Moore
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellow

Nick is a current clinical fellow in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at OHSU. He has an interest in treating children with hematologic malignancies and is excited to join the Cutler Lab to learn more about KMT2A driven leukemias.

He received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Vermont. He enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, and watching sports in his free time
